People who are vegan or have lactose intolerance issues are often not able to enjoy their favorite cocktails because they contain cream. Dairy-free alternatives to Irish Cream Liqueur are hard to find, targeted to a specific audience, not positioned as dairy free, and lack variation.
Insight:
With the global dairy alternative market being on the rise, this product fits in perfectly. Major reasons for the swap to non-dairy products include, health factors and ethical factors. Nut milk is made from raw nuts that are soaked overnight, drained and rinsed, blended with fresh water, and strained in a nut milk bag or cheesecloth. It can then be sweetened with the sweetener of choice. One of the benefits of combining the alcohol with the cream is that no preservatives are needed because the alcohol preserves the other ingredients.
